We advertise ourselfs as the Ultimate PvE modpack, and we'll be damned if we don't give you exactly that!
From this point forward, we are adding micro-transactions to our server, further expanding the awesome SGTekkit experience!
How, you ask?
Well, after asking our users, we've come to the conclusion that everyone really, really hates crafting.
So, we are disabling crafting in it's entirety and we'll shortly be replacing it with the fully automated, pay-per-item in-game SG-BlockShop(tm)
Instead of crafting, simply type e.g /blockshop Pickaxe-diamond and a diamond pickaxe will be automatically added to your inventory after the payment has been charged to the credit card associated with your SGTekkit account.
And while we realize that some of our users are under the age of 18 and therefore not eligible for a credit...
We understand that not every player can donate for one reason or another. But every player can help us by voting! Please remember to sign up at Technic Website and vote for our mod pack! Keeping us near the top shows us that the time and effort we put in does not go to waste!
Solder is now an active thing here at SGTekkit. What does this mean? Its simple.
When we release an update, you have to download it. Not everyone has a fast internet connection and this download could take them a longtime. (Bust at @Crimsonshot). Now, when we release a modpack update, you will only update the new mods. The rest of the mods will stay the same if not changed.
With this, we can now release updates each day or add new things and not have huge download costs. Which, by the way are insane.
Make sure you guys are +1 our mod pack for ScourgeCraft and SG as they are both packs we want to see very popular!
Since this hasn't been announced yet I thought I'd let everyone know that we've added a few new staff.
I'd like to welcome tec_SG, Pringamesh (aka Prinny) and ccomp5950 as your newest Mods. These three are long term players on the server who have shown they are more than deserving of the position. They will each bring new skills and expertise they've shown as players to the staff.
We will be converting from Windows to Linux today and the server will be down during that time. The ETA is about 4 hours from start to end. There is no ETA start time, when I get a moment, I will start it. There is no wipe just an OS change. I will remove this post when completed.
