Contest Video Trailer Contest! - $50 Donation Grand Prize!

Time for a contest! I think we could really use some community competition! So today we are announcing the SGTekkit Video Trailer Contest!

Contest Details

Participants will create a video trailer for the server using in-game recording software and whatever else they wish. Trailers can be any length as far as we are concerned but 10 minute trailers are probably not the best course of action. Most should be around 2 minutes. Trailers should feature the servers main selling points (the mods and our amazing community!)

Videos will be judged by all of the staff. We will have a rating system and will be judging several aspects of each video such as the video quality, music, how well it sells the server, etc. Details on how we score the videos will be posted at a later date.

THE CONTEST WILL RUN FROM NOW UNTIL JULY 6TH!
That gives you roughly 3 weeks to make something spectacular!

Contest Prizes

Grand Prize

$50 Donation Upgrade + 25k Credits + 10 Town Bonus Blocks to town of choosing!

2nd Place: $20 Donation Upgrade + 5 Town Bonus Blocks

3rd Place: $5 Donation Upgrade

All donation upgrades will be added to your current donation level. If you have not yet donated you will be awarded the appropriate donation level as well. If you are a uranium donor and you win an upgrade we will find another way to credit you in return for winning!

What do you have access to? Do you have the $2500 Adobe MC? Do you need free downloads? Have you used up your trial period on mainstream software?

You can always buy Fraps and construct it in Windows Movie maker if you are on a budget.

Yes it works, no it's not hard to install, I have it installed on my machine

I don't think you can use it on the ground. Correct me if I'm wrong. You need fly perms.

Learn something new every day. What happens when you're using Spline Mode and the ground changes height? It would try and make you fly!
